Did you receive the invite yesterday? And, did you share it with a fellow worshipper? Sometimes it’s hard for us to share our faith with others, here’s to greater confidence where we falter.
And today’s Holy Nougat™ offers one such starting place.
For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord . Psalm 117:2 NIV
No matter how we are wired, most of us are open to being loved. Some of us might be challenged by faithfulness (whether in practising or receiving it), but we tend to acknowledge that we have the capacity for love.
How do we respond to Pure Love? Which sees even more than the mirror does? Which goes way below the make-up, clothing, or even the attitude – good or bad? That having seen us at our worst, desires to perpetuate our best? And does NOT constantly remind us of our failures?
How do we respond to Pure Love? Which forgives us EACH and EVERY time we falter? Which rescues us time and time again from our blunders? Which always encourages us? Which celebrates the best in us and helps us get BETTER than our BEST?
Hmmm
Hallelujah Lord! You really are Pure Love.
