Wow!
What a show! Educational, political, historical, environmentally friendly, low-cost … Amazong!!! The official start of the Rio Olympic games was all that and more. But that’s yesterday’s news. Today, each team will be working on golden recogition. For that’s what the games are really about. Rewarding groups and individuals for their prowess.
And that’s what today’s Holy Nougatâ„¢ relates to.

There is a (wo)man … Out of everybody, One is singled out. Outstanding
In whom is the Spirit … So enmeshed in relationship with God, the presence of God is visible. Anointed
The king appointed … Favour and excellence overtakes, regardless. Appointed
So many of us aren’t Olympians. But, the Spirit of God dwells within us, so that each of us may be recognized as Outstanding, Anointed and Appointed.
Let’s excel, striving to be known for our prowess in our area of specialisation, for God has qualified every single one of us for a specific task.
Let’s excel for Team Jesus, banding together like Team Refugees (who boldly reminded us of the realities of lmany of the competing nations).
Let’s excel for our individual golden reward, accompanied by the anthem, “Well done, good and faithful One”.
For God’s sake, let’s excel!
