And they’re off!
In but a few hours the 2016 Olympics will be officially started amid fanfare and fiestas, carnival and ceremony. Where will you be? Are you rooting for a particular athlete, team or country? More critically, do we have a plan of action for our souls when our race of life is over?

Have you ever considered being this bold before the Lord? To negotiate grace for others who SEEM to be outside of relationship with God? To intentionally engage the Lord with the clear purpose of CHANGING God’s mind?
And what happened when you interceded? Did you receive a favourable response like Abraham did?
Then what? And what of your relationship with those who were not supposed to receive God’s grace? How did that go?
Would you do that – i.e. intercede for an ousider (again)?
Lord
Increase our desire to intercede for others, especially those who might not be comfortable with addressing you for themselves. Blot out their sins with the blood of Jesus Christ, and guide them into your love, we pray dear loving God. Meet __________ (insert namel) at the point of need Almighty God , for the sake of your son, Jesus, who did that for the whole world. Be glorified in my life through this answered prayer as you are revealed anew to your child. In Jesus’s name Amen.
