Greetings
The Charlottesville saga had got me thinking about those guilty by association or by accompaniment. Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
The men with Saul stood speechless, for they heard the sound of someone’s voice but saw no one! Acts of the Apostles 9:7 NLT
Imagine that. Being witness to the entire conversation between Saul and … No one?! Hearing voices, but seeing no one. Would you have been convicted? Would you have wondered whether you were going crazy? For obviously there was a voice.
And when you realized Who was speaking, what was your response then? Granted, the Voice was clear in making Saul the subject of the conversation. But you were his assistant. So would you be impacted by YHWH’s arrest of Saul? Moreover, would your actions change, even a little?
For encountering the Divine usually IS a life changing experience. It’s also a choice. And from Saul’s story one can see that it’s possible to be “in” and sin. One can even be drawn into sinful acts believing that it’s honoring God. And, as an accomplice to sin, it is feasible that God WILL convict us.

May our hearts be open to the move of God’s Spirit.
Thanks for joining us in this Divine feast.
