Sometimes it seems as though we never belonged to you, as though we had never been known as your people. Isaiah 63:19 NLT
It is heartening to see these thoughts in the Bible for they assure us that God’s grace can and will extend to us when we feel like outsiders.
Additionally, they remind us that God genuinely expects us to be honest about how we feel. So although we speak into being the things that MUST BE as though they already are; we can say to God, ‘it’s not happening for me right now … Help me understand Your will.
So in light of the past fortnight/month/day … How honest have you been with the Lord recently?
Have a read of Isaiah 63 and then pour your heart out to the Lord.
