Hello
Here’s to wonderful Sunday mornings and lazy Sunday afternoons!
So after a prolonged season (but not an eternity) on my phone, I decided to be proactive and place it on the charger. Five minutes later, the charge has not increased at all and I’m a bit concerned. The engaged charger was not connected to the outlet and the connected charged was not the one I had engaged. In that split moment, neither charger was being used optimally. Profound concept right there.
Hold on to that as we savour today’s Holy Nougat™
But Jehoshaphat said, “Is there not still here another prophet for the Lord from whom we might inquire?” 2 Chronicles 18:6
400 prophets, and still he asked for another! 400 disconnected prophets, there was need for another who was connected to the Source of ALL Truth. You see, many of us are in possession of one or more spiritual gifts. For if we are disconnected from the Source, it doesn’t matter how many persons think we are. For, if we are not careful we run the risk of becoming charlatans … possessing a FORM of godliness, but void of the Power that keeps us going.
But, like the charger, it is easy for us to get reconnected. We need to acknowledge our disconnectedness, find the Source, get plugged in. And no, we’re not necessarily like the phone, for – of a truth – we’re called to help others connect and find their charge.

. Active Prayer life ……………

. Daily time in the Word ……

. Time of Reflection/Journalling …

. Fellowship with other saints ….

. High Praise levels (not volumes)

. Utilising Spiritual gifts ………..

If one or more is problematic, perhaps our connection is weak. Recoonect through Prayer, Penance (ie confession) and Praise. Otherwise, maintain the connection through Ptater, Penance, and Praise.
May we remain optimised in the Lord.
