I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Philippians 3:7 NLT
What are some of the things that still remain precious to us? How much value do we place on them in relation to God’s place in our lives? Is it a clear cut winner or equal value.
Ironically, we sometimes claim that God has top billing/first place in our lives, when in fact God is relegated by us to afterwards … After I … When I’ve finished … Im not sure when I’ll have the time … (Just a few of our common excuses).
Might I encourage us to assess our priorities, and ensurethat God remains first in our lives. And if at all we are unable to say God is our priority, I pray that we might repent I earnest, for our God deserves our highest praise.
