All too often, we find that life gets a little crazy. And in those moments it is often exceedingly tempting to do our own thing. Sometimes we find that others look to us for guidance and direction; and we might begin to see ourselves differently. And in those instances, we sometimes begin tho rely on our wisdom and strength. Not wise.
Having recently reread the stories of the Israelite kings and their short reigns due to their disregard for God; I am most convicted that following God’s guidance is the way to go. So whether it’s to counteract our own selfish solutions or to conquer fear; let’s choose the way of Christ and watch God transform our situations.
