Hello
How have you been? Life has been filled with many an interesting moment. And I found that my constant recourse has been God. That wasn’t always the case, so I’m truly handful that God has brought me to this place. And, today’s Holy Nougat reminds us that there’s a promise attached to keeping God as our go-to Person.
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Isaiah 26:3 NLT
Here’s the disclaimer –
Peace doesn’t mean our problems disappear; it means we focus less and less on the problem and more and more on the Problem Solver.
Peace doesn’t mean the typical breakthrough will appear; it means our minds; ie our ATTITUDES, shift in anticipation of God’s marvellous intervention
Peace doesn’t mean we’ve gotten it all figured out – usually it’s outside our ability to fix – it means we’ve accepted that God had got to fix it because we can’t
Peace doesn’t mean we’re always worry- free; it means that IN THIS MOMENT we’ve got our minds zeroed in on Christ. Because the minute we lose focus, that wonderful Peace is gone.
How to get that Peace – focus on Christ. Make Christ our Go-to Person and watch the spot where worry used to reign.
Lord
It’s true, You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! So help us to focus, please Lord. Adjust our lens so that we see You clearly. Especially in the worrisome moments. Today. Tomorrow. One day at a time. One moment at a time. Until it becomes Forever. Hear our hearts’ cry oh Lord and fill us with Your Peace. In Jesus’s name amen
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
