In the middle of our struggles, do we look at how far the Lord has brought us or are we busy grumbling?
Yes, we need to carve moments of praise amidst the pain and persecution. David celebrated God’s redemptive work in releasing him from the hands of his enemies. Has there been a memorable case of God’s positive presence while we face difficulties which we need to give thanks?
If so, maybe this would be an amazing time to first praise God. If not, maybe we should consider just spending the time with God in praise.
May the Holy Spirit give Us the utterance to praise with recognition of God’s mercy and grace
