Good day my dears
I pray today finds you basking in the joy of the Lord.
Here’s today’s nougat
The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.” John 5:7
He was by the pool; in faith, awaiting the troubling of the waters. For 38 years, he anticipated his miracle. And Nothing. Could it be that in the process of waiting, the man lost sight of The One on whom he waited? Could it be that despite his need, despite his faith, the duration of this wait cost him his ability to truly see that his breakthrough had come?
Many of us are desperately awaiting the troubling of the waters, in fact we are wholly vested in a relationship with Jesus Christ. BUT, we fail to recognize that our breakthrough is at hand. Could it be that we need to listen anew for God’s invitation? And, if so, do we dare act on Jesus’s offer?
Perhaps we could begin by whispering to God in the quiet of our hearts. Hang in there and pray; God really wants to hear from us today.
