Howdy

Please bear this ministry in prayer as lethargy has been impacting the timeliness of pursuing in recent time. How are you? Rejoicing that you are alive yet again, ready to make the most of this opportunity to live for Christ, I hope. If not, I am rejoicing that you are here

Here’s today’s Holy Nougatâ„¢

rooted and builded up in him, and established in your faith, even as ye were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. Colossians 2:7 ASV

Sometimes, it truly is not about how we feel. We press on.

Remembering who we are, God’s precious likeness, and whose we are – Blood bought, Holy Ghost taught, Ransomed, Redeemed heirs of the Promise, Children of the Living God – affords us the strength to armour up and live while fighting our way through this day.

Because we’re redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb, it is easier to find ourselves in the heart of battle (Satan, the prince of this world is always seeking to deprive us of our inheritance). This means that we must be rooted in Christ, confident that God ALWAYS completes that which God begins, (therefore) secure in our Faith that God’s got us no matter what.

One poet says, “It passeth knowledge”, and truly we take God’s love and grace through faith. A faith that grows exponentially through application of the Word and from overcoming our light afflictions. Since the beginning of time, actually since the Fall of humanity, growth is accompanied by some type of exertion. Spiritual growth is no exception. But again, we press on, knowing that God’s got us, whatever we face is surmountable.

Some toddlers undergo flu-like symptoms for each growth spurt they experience, in some cases this continues to adolescence. Perhaps what you’re undergoing in that rough season (maybe even this moment) is yet another spiritual growth spurt. Hold strain. It will also come to PASS!

Now here comes the difficult bit. Remaining thankful through the process. NOT EASY.

But God.

How’s about we pray for the ability to praise through the circumstances … I suspect that it’s one of those uber special spiritual gifts … and practice it until it actually is the reality. Although it isn’t a spiritual gift, it secretes that essential spiritual growth hormone that allows us once again to rise above the circumstances like Habakkuk, while keeping us rooted and grounded in Christ Jesus.

Here’s a thought from one of my favorites, Papa San, to jumpstart our thanksgiving …

Thanks for joining me in this godly gourmet meal.

God bless you today and always.

In Christ’s love and grace . . .
