Hi
Plagued by self doubt or impatience with self/others for the lack of progress in some aspect of life? Take a deep breath, grab a mirror and be reminded that we’re all WiPs, God’s masterpieces. Yes we are. And with that, here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Philippians 1:6 NLT
So, in light of the fact that we’re masterpieces, crafted by The Master, we know who it is that has begun working on and in us. We know also that anything done by The Master Crafter is good.
The only variable remaining, which may raise concern is whether The Master is done working within us.
And for that, the answer is twofold. Once created, we are complete. In that regard, The Master’s work is already done. But, with the existence of Sin, our perfection has been marred. Until we have breathed our last, the business of perfecting us unto God’s self through Christ Jesus is ongoing. Ongoing, because we first must acknowledge God as Master Creator, them allow God access to further mold us and shape us into vessels of honor reflecting The Master’s craftsmanship in all facets of our being.
Once we allow The Master access, we are assured that we will once again be masterpieces when the Work is done. So each of us is a Work-in-Progress (a WiP, got it?). Let’s commit to recognizing that in each other and ourselves as The Master continues to perfect us unto the day of Salvation.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
