What do we stand for and how do we communicate same to others who might not be open to hearing?
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Philemon 1:3 ASV
In the Pauline epistle addressed to his elder Philemon, Paul begins in a similar fashion to the other epistles. Having identified the ‘writer’, he offers peace. This is somewhat reminiscent of Jesus’s instructions to the disciples in Luke 9, wherever you go offer peace. The letter also offers grace. Grace was a core element of Paul’s life. He understood his call as a response to God’s grace. Despite his many mistakes, God continued to open up salvation to him.
What does it mean to offer grace and peace to another? Could it be an intentionality about seeking God’s best for another – expressing wellness for body, mind and soul in the face of?
Having consciously offered such, perhaps the recipient of our message might be drawn to love through Christ Jesus.
Grace and peace to you my dears. Thanks for sharing this time with me and with God.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
