You ever had a Job day? Where you are walking in your faith and possibly your Godgiven purpose; when ‘all hell breaks loose’ and the only thing left standing is your faith? If no, absorb today’s Nougat as if your future depends on it; for until you’ve been there, it seems like folks are overreacting. And if you have been there … remember to share your testimony of how you overcame while you underwent that season of testing. Here is today’s Holy Nougat
“God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God will help her, and that right early.” Psalms 46:5 ASV
In short, when the going gets tough, us tough folks find Jesus. Just like that. For inasmuch as God is our Secret Place; God is our Help, Who has already begun the rescue operations. It may seem as if nothing is happening now; but that IS NOT the promise. And the promises of God can sustain when ought else fails.
So we watch unto prayer; reminding ourselves that prayer helps to restore the Word to our hearts, thus equipping us for the battle royal. Additionally, we revise the promises and examine our lives for proof that God’s integrity holds true for keeping promises, whether in our lives or for others. We quickly don our armor – guarding our minds with the assurance that God’s got us covered; resisting the urge to panic as we shroud ourselves in the confidence that we Know in Whom we believe. We remain steadfast in our commitment to Christ using the Word as our defense against the enemy’s strategies. Let us stick to God’s Truth – God is already in the solution to all that ails us. And of course just as Christ’s peace liberates us, we allow the fragrance God’s peace to precede us, despite the provocation.
We run to our Secret Place and repeat until the strife is over. God is in Our Midst; help is on the Way. It’s time for praise!
