Unrest devolved into riots and bloodshed. 5 year old killed in shooting. Teenager dies as a result of crossfire … Recently the news has been pretty rough. Natural disasters create less havoc than human disregard for life. It has become so easy to feel overwhelmed.

But, God’s got a word for us. Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™

But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ Acts of the Apostles 2:21 NLT

That’s even more potent than the issues in the news. And more sure than money on the stock market.

Best of all, God’s never tired of us calling on God’s name. What joy.

May this promise take us through the valleys and guide us as we offer hope to a dying and broken world.
