Long week? Praying rest along the way.
Here’s today’s nougat
And Moses brought their cause before Jehovah. Numbers 27:5
One dead man. Five living daughters. Zero inheritance.
What to do when everything is down to zero? No options. My brother says make sure you can look up. For once you can look up, you SHALL rise up.
The sisters took stock of their situation.
They recognized the strength in numbers
They went as one to Moses … affirming power in intercession.
They found favor with authority. Moses went before God
Remember one may chase a thousand, but two may chase ten thousand.
Of course, there are those issues which we take to God privately. But for those others … especially when others are also undergoing, there’s power in intercession as a group.
Hear our cries O Lord attend unto our prayers
From the ends of the earth we cry out to you
When our hearts are overwhelmed, lead us to the Rock that is higher than high
That is higher than high
