Nougat 29

Howdy

That nougat stayed with me all day and I realised there was more to savour.

Here’s today’s nougat

And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara; for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me. Ruth 1:20

If you were Naomi’s sibling or friend, how would you respond to this new and beaten Mara? Would you gloat in her sorrow?

Let us be conscious that Naomi lives in our midst. Some of us have even been Mara before.

How might we respond to those who have lost everything and are unable to find hope in the ashes of loss and despair?
