Today’s Holy Nougat is one of those that reminds us why God is God.
“I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!” Isaiah 65:24 NLT
It was a fairly desolate place; and she realized why her guide had insisted that he wait with her. But she tolerated him for so long; then made her way alone to where she’d been told she needed to be. By the time she realized her error; the guide was gone.
Considering her options, she sat; ready to entertain herself as best she could for the remaining 90 minutes. With no shops nearby, she began to weigh her options – and then she heard; ‘Hi. I thought you’d left with the earlier group. Do you mind if I wait with you?’ And just like that; her situation turned around.
Sometime later; she managed a quick thanks to God for intervening and making provision before she even realized that she was in need.
The joy is, her story is my story and yours also; though we don’t always take the time to notice. For when by ‘coincidence’, a situation gets sorted before we even remember to seek divine guidance; that’s God. When help appears out out of the blue, or an unexpected though welcome gift lands in our lives – that is truly God. Hallelujah
