Have you ever been rescued before? I have. More times than I can recall. If you have been rescued before, you can definitely appreciate today’s Holy Nougat
“He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me. They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the Lord supported me.” Psalms 18:17-18 NLT
I have a testimony.
I was drowning in debt and swiftly going deeper by the weight of despair. And with despair gripping my arms (figuratively), and my thoughts (literally), I was a goner. For despair almost always travels with dejection and desperation. Depression was trying to be best buddies with me and I was close to accepting.
Of course I hid it with smiles and sass; but God knew different. And just before dent delivered it’s debilitating death blow (I was a few weeks short of losing everything); God intervened!
Someone was alerted to my plight; and sent to rescue me! Nothing but Divine intervention I tell you. Because I was still hiding from the truth AND hiding the bit I did know from the world. You see, I’d bought into the lie that no one would care and no one could help me.
And I also told myself that I was on top of things! I didn’t even realize that it was all about to publicly fall apart. God’s intervention was timely! And God picked me and the pieces up; stitched them together and placed me on the path stronger and supported.
Hallelujah I have a testimony. I know the God Who delivered me. What’s your testimony?
