Greetings
Have you been challenged by a Word from the Lord recently? You are not alone. The Hall of Faith is overflowing with saints who have had similar experiences.
Let us chew on this as we savour today’s Holy Nougat™
I went there because God revealed to me that I should go. While I was there I met privately with those considered to be leaders of the church and shared with them the message I had been preaching to the Gentiles. I wanted to make sure that we were in agreement, for fear that all my efforts had been wasted and I was running the race for nothing. Galatians 2:2 NLT
There are moments when the move of the Holy Spirit involves us reprimanding a person or persons? Are we still open to following God’s lead?
Christianity is a gift – freely given. Living the Faith has real consequences. Hearing God’s voice is a powerful experience, though not always involving revelations about others in a positive light.
Sharing the word requires sensitivity, not showmanship or sensationalism. The leadership was called privately. (Hmmm, could that be a reminder to us that we maintain respect for those placed in charge of our spiritual welfare?) And yet, the Word was delivered with clarity, options offered and the relationship maintained.
Today, I pray the Spirit of the Lord will be heard in our hearts, transforming first our lives; and in turn, the lives of those placed in our care.
In Christ
