Nougat 31

“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.”” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:9-10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When we put it all together; there’s no one or nothing that can legitimately challenge our identity in Christ … So I was watching a sermon yesterday, and I thought it encapsulates what we’ve been reflecting on these past few days.

I especially love how she pulls the scriptures together at the end for the affirmation. I almost shared that bit only, but felt a little background was helpful for us.

And lastly, we have a call to help others find their identity in Christ.
