Hey
How are you? (And I’m actually curious about how you are.) I trust all is well in your world and if it isn’t, that you are aware of support in deed and in prayer.
Here’s today’s nougat
Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5.17
It was not the norm. Not that prayer and praise were absent from the routine; but this was different.
Firstly, there was the decision not to read, not so normal. Especially after hours. Then the decision to break away from the conversations around. Fatigue does that to anyone. Then blissful sleep.
Only to find that throughout the night, it was about intercession…sometimes a half- turn in the bed; praying not for self, but committing another In Christ’s loving care. … other times, a bathroom break; and the recognition that the intercession of the righteous makes a difference. … then arising to the dawn of a new day and finding the praises already on the lips.
Praying might not be as ceaseless as it should be; but being in THAT space, even without being intentional, adds a different dimension to one’s day.
May the grace of our Lord be yours today and always.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
