Hello
Gotta get that praise on. It’s a good accompaniment for today’s Holy Nougat
“When Jesus heard him, he stopped and said, “Tell him to come here.” So they called the blind man. “Cheer up,” they said. “Come on, he’s calling you!”” Mark 10:49 NLT
When Jesus heard him … what if he listened to the naysayers? He would have been silent long before he was heard. He would have given up and been left with ‘if only’ or ‘I wonder if’
When Jesus heard him … life as he knew it ceased. Something began to shift in the atmosphere. And it was shifting in the blind man’s favor! The ones who were silencing him were suddenly agents of encouragement. Hmmmn.
When Jesus heard him.
What about when Jesus hears us? Does Jesus hear us? Oh yes He does. And WHEN (Not if) He does, something special happens. Even when the answer is not what we anticipate, life as we knew it ceases. We KNOW we have audience with the divine and purpose is (re)established.
But what about us hearing Jesus?
Could the clutter and hubbub within and without be blocking our ears from hearing Him for ourselves?
How do we respond to Jesus’s call, knowing that we were calling out to Him?
When the naysayers realize the call on our lives, is that when we hear Jesus?
Selah
