Blessed day to you!
Have you ever passed judgement on something before trying it? Isn’t it a relief that even though Christ knows us, Christ chooses us and practically pleads with us to choose him in turn.
Here’s today’s nougat
Pull me from the trap my enemies set for me,
for I find protection in you alone. Psalm 31.4
Can you imagine being so assured of who God is? Hagar was. Especially after God meets her In the wilderness and assures her that she was not alone…Abram did. Hence his willingness to embark upon the unknown with the Unseen…Moses did. Took him a while to admit when fear of pharaoh’s wrath and mysticism gripped him. Saul-Paul was. From his conviction on the Damascus road right back to becoming a prisoner for Christ…
I knew last week. When God held my hands and carried me past my needs … But I forgot this week when fear threatened to disembowel me. And yet God pulled me from my fears, my Creator, my God, my Refuge.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
