Hi dears
Today I am grateful to God for the Moseses placed along my life’s journey. I am also grateful for those who I’ve been blessed to accompany and lead.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“He said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”” Exodus 33:14 NRSV
Isn’t God amazing! The Israelites has just ‘spat in God’s face’ with the golden calf debacle. While God was busy directing their paths of life; they were creating gods to worship. (Sounds vaguely familiar doesn’t it?) And yet, there God was – after Moses’s interceded – rescuing the Israelites from themselves. Simply put, they didn’t deserve it. Yet God’s grace prevailed. Despite being upset with them; God assured Moses that they were all forgiven.
Two things to ponder
Who intercedes for you (& for whom do you intercede?)
Have you thanked God for that gift of forgiveness and grace?
Stop for a while and respond to those.
