Blessed Father’s day
And greetings from Jeju island, South Korea. As part of my orientation for the event I’m participating in, we’ve visited the April 3 Peace Park, which incites reflections on the fractricide of April 3, 1948 and beyond. I was returned to Grenada, Trinidad, the Holocaust, Transatlantic Slave Trade, and several other cases of inexplicable dehumanised acts. And I grieved for humanity.
But then, today’s Holy Nougat assures us that our hope, our consolation rests in the Almighty.
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NLT
Remember, God’s peace sustains DESPITE the trials, not instead of the trials.
But, let’s take heart, in Christ, there is victory.
