How’s your prayer life? Have you had moments when your prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling, straight back to earth? I have. We might find some choice bits today

At the beginning of your prayers, an answer was given; and I have come to say what it is; because you are greatly loved. Therefore look into this answer, and understand the vision. Dani’el (Dan) 9:23 CJB
Wow! Prayer answered before it was even completed. Isn’t that something! In savouring this tiny nybble from the nougat, I’m digesting some serious nutrients
1. God really listens to my prayers … I can’t answer you if I’m not listening to you. So if the Lord gives an answer TO my prayers, then it means that God is hearing my prayer.
BIT to Savour What is the content of my prayer?
2. God understands my deeper thoughts and really KNOWS me … The prayer was answered at the beginning. What I ask is so important that God seeks to respond ASAP (As Soon As Possible), in fact, right away. Wow!
BIT to Savour How quickly do I respond to the Lord?
3. An unuttered prayer – whether in the mind, on paper or vocalised – STRONGLY reduces our chances of our wants and desires being attended to. We have not because we ask amiss (James 4:3), or fail to ask.
BIT to Savour Have we failed to pray because we have assumed God won’t listen, or for the wrong reasons?
