Hi
How are you? More importantly, how were your gifts yesterday? Funny how I almost missed a few until I remembered … And then they rolled right in. Like the howdy when I was about to be frustrated. The access to the internet after my first choice was no forthcoming. Lunch with friends and reconnaissance with several others. And of course, my hostesses anticipating my needs in the most profound ways … Even to the extent of checking on me when I am residing elsewhere.
Those are but a few when I began counting! Because sometimes, it’s the “little” things.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougatâ„¢
Do not quench the Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 5:19 NIV
So when my non-resident hostess (yes I am so spoilt, hallelujah) asked of my schedule because she needed to connect me with a stylist, that the Holy Spirit. Sending a message that arrived just before I gave in to frustration, that’s the Holy Spirit. Listening to the “little voice telling” us to act on something, yes indeedy, that’s the Holy Spirit.
Today, amid our busy-ness, might we be so attuned to the gentle nudge of God’s Spirit, that someone would feel God in their lives on account of us. Please, let’s not silence God’s voice in our hearts.
Thanks for sharing this time with me and the Lord. May God bless you and family.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
