Nougat 2

Oftentimes, we fail to give credence to the connectivity between the Godhead. Perhaps it is that it is more convenient to ignore the relationship between the three, rather than allow ourselves to trust in the Trinity. Please receive Today’s Holy Nougat, as we continue to reflect on God’s provision for us.

Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭27‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.” ‭‭

The Heart of the Matter

God knows us inside out. As Creator, nothing escapes God’s notice, even when it seems that we pulled a fast one. In fact, we ought to be thankful that we are not treated as our sins deserve, it would be catastrophic. For then, knowing the state of our hearts, God could have opted to remove us from our contexts.

Yet, in Love, because of Y’shua’s sacrifice, God chooses to offer us the hope of salvation if we choose to accept the gift. There is a challenge with our retaining and accessing that gift of grace however. It is our sin nature. Our ‘natural’ selves desire things that are contrary to God’s will, leaving us disinclined towards God.

But God already has a contingency plan in place:- God, Who knows the nature of the human heart, allows the Spirit of God to dwell in each of us. Remember that, like Y’shua, God’s Spirit intervene with God on our behalf. And they all speak the same language.

What’s more, as Creator, God understands us – so along with The Spirit of God -God fixes plans in our favor. You see the heart of the matter is not only about the state of our human hearts. It is primarily about God’s heart for humanity that keeps providing for us and makes room for us in Paradise.

Our salvation, the supplying of our needs, forgiveness, provision of our daily bread, the grace that we call life … all because God loves us despite our sinfulness. For God loves us so much, that God sent Y’shua to die in our stead, then gifted us the Paraclete (i.e., God’s Spirit) to guide us and pray on our behalf through us.

That’s what Love looks like.
