With the increasing manifestation of the signs of Christ’s return, many are desperate to confirm that He will come and to know the exact date. Today’s Holy Nougat offers a definitive response for the curious.
“In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door. “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.” Matthew 24:33, 36 NLT
Fact or Fiction?
Siblings, time is drawing nigh and some of us are trying to determine truth from fiction. I can put it very simply: Truth: Christ’s Coming is looming! Fiction: Any definite date we’ve heard from Anyone
Several sources on social media offer names and dates of the anticipated End, or the dreadful day of the Lord’s Return (also referred to by some of them as the Apocalypse) and if you are keen to hear or see some, visit

We might even recall that the calculation on the rare blood moons was proof for a May or October possibility last year – I might have gotten their dates wrong, bear with me here. There was a group up in the hills of Jamaica years ago, as they separated from the world literally, awaiting the day of Christs Return. While I commend their desire for spiritual purity, I remind us that our evangelical call lay along the premise of being in but not of the world. We must occupy until our King returns.
Some of us grew up in the era of Prince, the singer, whose single from his album of the same title, ‘1999’ was a hit in many countries, not only North America. I don’t know all the words, but recall part of a line saying let’s party like it’s 1999. That was a nod to the view that Christ’s return would usher in the new millennium, so, in true carnival style, indulge the flesh with one great party (fête, j’ouvert) before it was time to get holy. Not only is that a wrong approach to preparing for Christ’s return, Christ didn’t return in “99 or 2000.
For the day and the hour remains unknown. Others have entered the fray of predicting the Day, including religious leaders and Sir Isaac Newton. They affirm the magnitude of Christs Return. One thing remains constant:
Regardless of the spiritual depth of the Source, whether it’s Nostradamus, Sir Isaac Newton, Henny Penny, a close friend or family member, if they have an exact date of Christs return: then their Facts are Fictional.
