And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang: “Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.”. Revelation 5:13 NLT
Can you hear the angels testifying of God’s awesome glory? Just listen? Right there in the recesses of your heart. Listen.
Why would we need to bless God, ascribe glory and honor to God or recognize God’s power? Is this something that you do regularly? What might you do differently in your Worship ways?
Perhaps the more important question is, “Who or what is enthroned in our hearts?” Why? How is this demonstrated in our lifestyle choices?
For the one who is enthroned in our hearts is the one who gets our attention. And the one who gets our attention is usually the One whom we worship.
Lord teach us how to worship You worthily, praise you more proudly, and magnify you more meaningfully. For without you, we are nothing.
Hear our hearts cry we pray in Jesus’s name Amen
