Blessed joy to you!
How have you been? What a week in history, what a week in our lives.
Herts today’s nougat
Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: love therefore is the fulfilment of the law. Romans 13:10
Sometimes loving is tough. Because the neighbour whom we are called to love is sometimes not the easiest one to love, or even ignore. The beggar on the street who really ought to find a real real employer and not look to us for their salary. That person who really should consider attending another church. That obtuse and annoying person in the office/at school/on the civic committee. That despicable family member who embarrasses world without end.
That person who looks back in the mirror, a reminder that sometimes the neighbour we work ill toward, is ourself.
Is not too late however, for a new normal.
Let’s begin by loving ourselves, so that the neighbour thing becomes child’s play.
Love and blessings to you today.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
