Hi
Today’s Holy Nougat offers a marvelous opportunity for praise!
“Many, O Jehovah my God, are the wonderful works which thou hast done, And thy thoughts which are to us-ward: They cannot be set in order unto thee; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered.” Psalms 40:5 ASV
Where do we begin, to chronicle God’s marvelous provision in our lives? Poetry (in sonnet 14-style); Song; Dance; Art; Praise; Prayer; Testimony … all of the previous?
Whatever the methodology, there still would not be enough time, talent or even treasure to adequately cover the vastness of the individual and collective blessings we have enjoyed over time!
What is the time which best fosters the recollection of God’s continued blessings in our lives? Is it time-sensitive; so we schedule praise breaks and count oiuyour blessings? Or is it triggered by events; wheerein the praises are lifted up during specific moments? Moreover, is our testimony encouraging a fellow sojourner along the way? God forbid that we do otherwise!
Now it’s time to praise, pray, prophecy, prop up another, prepare another as God pours out upon us – pressed down, shaken and overflowing!
Seriously. Totally.
