Hello
Many/all of you were denied access to the video yesterday. My sincerest apologies. It seems that the requisite permissions are not allowed. And the test run with the audio was also unsuccessful.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
And all the people answered and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. Matthew 27:25 ASV
What a word to speak over one’s life! To accept total responsibility for someone’s death! But moreso, to accept responsibility for its impact on the next generation, indicates a steadfastness of purpose which is somewhat dangerous for matters so critical to life.
Of course, when we consider the assertion in the greater story we marvel at the arrogance of the crowd. What about our own arrogance towards God’s purpose and plan for our lives? Or when we ‘consciously trifle with sin’, walking away from the Faith which has kept us going? Or when we choose indifference to others, thinking their lives have no relation to ours? Perhaps the crowd is not as unique in their arrogant rant after all.
Please join me in confessing our individual and collective sins
Lord
In you is the path to life and we have been unfaithful in our walk with you. Please forgive me for … and do not count it to me or my children. Thank you for the fresh outpouring of grace dear Lord Jesus, amen.
In Christ
