Please receive the conclusion of reflections on hearing from God with Today’s Holy Nougat
“But now at last, God sent his Son to bring his message to us. God created the universe by his Son, and everything will someday belong to the Son. God’s Son has all the brightness of God’s own glory and is like him in every way. By his own mighty word, he holds the universe together. After the Son had washed away our sins, he sat down at the right side of the glorious God in heaven.” Hebrews 1:2-3 CEV
Hearing God: Through The Son
So putting it all together, we recognize that in God’s grace and mercy, we’re constantly hearing from God. Of course, we recognize that Jesus has sent us the Comforter, God’s Spirit, as well as Scripture to ensure that we have ongoing access to God’s voice.
It’s hard to believe that some folks can’t hear God, whether through stubbornness, unbelief, or doubts (probably due to painful life experiences). Because, when we consider the Gospel message that demonstrates Christ’s love – how can folks miss God. From Genesis to Revelation, it’s all there. We only have to read, listen or even ask questions of nature to realize that God spoke in the past and still speaks to each of us now.
In listening, we gain access to whatever Jesus – God’s Son – inherits from God and authorizes for us. Access to Heaven, Forgiveness from sins (reconciliation), Protection from the devastation that impacts the universe, and eventually sharing in His inherited Glory. Not only does this constitute a series of Love Notes from Heaven, but it also affirms our worth and heralds Hope.
And yes, sometimes the word is one of correction or even chastisement, but that does not diminish God’s Love or the message.
I pray that even as we anticipate personal messages in Scripture, that we’ll hear Jesus speaking to us as He has to (and in) all of humanity since the beginning of time.

May all we seek be found in Christ
