Nougat 15

Imbibing Today’s Holy Nougat Led me to a time of personal prayer. I’m sharing it with you, and you may pray the same, or as your own.

“But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Love Letter to My Advocate

Let Us Pray

Spirit of God, My Advocate,

You not only negotiate on my behalf, but You also teach me what to say and do. You guard and guide me, cheer me on and lift my spirits when I need a boost. Moreover, You know God’s Law inside out, so not only is Your defense argument on my behalf very strong, You are able to shatter the enemy’s arguments against me. Because You are conversant with the Law, I know that You’re giving me free, solid, sound counsel when I need it.

Thank You Spirit of God

Yet,

There are times when I hesitate, when I look to self, to others, rather than the Bible, to Jesus, to You. Forgive me my foolishness. It’s ironic, actually; for Your counsel is Automatic, Constant and Free; and comes with a guarantee … no warranty. And when I do falter, You help me back to God’s grace, You go again to my defense, and You love me no less.

Wow! That’s a deep, eternal and abiding Love! Thank You Spirit of God. Thank You Jesus for sending me Your Advocate. Help me attune my ears forever to Your frequency, so that together we can overcome the challenges each day presents.
