Hello
How are you? When last have you done something just for fun? Sometimes we need to stop and appreciate the joys of life. It improves our outlook; but it also ensures that we don’t devalue what really matters.
Here’s today’s nougat
A fool spurns a parents discipline, but whoever heedeth correction showeth prudence. Proverbs 15.5
“Mi naa gi you no chance…” Hiding and puffing, he threatened the teacher who had reprimanded him so soundly. The problem was, he’d forgotten that the parents whom need threatened to turn the teacher to were strict disciplinarians. Instead of reprimanding the casting teacher, the child had to apologize for being rude.
Sometimes, the correction we receive from our elders, the Lord or even young ones sting. But a good sign of spiritual maturity is recognizing when we’ve erred and taking responsibility for it. It just could save us from further reprimand or keep us out of danger.
Be blessed
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
