Hello
How have you been? Great, I presume.
And what your praise, have you been sounding or regardless?
Here’s what the psalmiat says in today’s nougat
It it’s a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord and to sing praises unto they name O Most High. Ps. 92:1
Written as an integral part of the week’s liturgy, this Pam opens with a declaration of purpose. To thank and praise God for no apparent reason than in recognition of God’s sovereignty. We recall that a sovereign is a supreme (uncontestable) ruler. A ruler who would maintain total and absolute care for one’s subjects and to whom total and absolute allegiance (loyalty) is given.
In the days of empire, the subjects lived for the master’s happiness.
What grounds do we possess to justify thanksgiving and praise to our sovereign? Are there reasons for doubt in our sovereign? How might we demonstrate this love to our sovereign? Will we patiently wait until the next holy day to burst forth in praise? Or do we aspire to be true worshippers, giving glory and praise at all times?
Once you’ve decided; let the praises ring.
Selah
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
