Hi
Got purpose? Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
Then he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head, anointing him and making him holy for his work.
Leviticus 8:12 NLT
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be set apart for God’s glory? Not to be a pastor or full-time ministry worker, but to be set apart to honor God no matter where you are? The fact is, every single one of us who is called by The Name of Jesus Christ has been set apart. We have each been individually anointed to be a beacon for God right where we’ve been placed.
That includes active involvement in the church/temple where we worship as well as for our daily routine – whether school or other employment.
Of course, those of us who have committed our lives to enhance the work of worshipping community (i.e. the Church) on a full time basis are set apart for ministry, just like Aaron the priest. That has special significance for us, as it ought to, but we’re not the only ones God has called.
God has anointed each of us and set us apart for the ministry we’ve been fashioned for. And there’s room for every single one of us in God’s vineyard.
Let’s administer our responsibilities as though we’re doing them for God’s glory. Because really and truly – we are!
In Christ’s love and grace
