Hello
There are several schools of thought regarding cognitive processes of a fetus and when to begin communicating with the unborn child(ren). And yet, I can not recall actually hearing anyone argue from God’s perspective. Nevertheless today’s Holy Nougat invites us to consider exactly that
“But you desire honesty from the womb, teaching me wisdom even there.” Psalms 51:6 NLT
And there it is folks. According to the psalmist, God not only has high expectations from us as individuals on this side of the birthing process; but God also chooses to speak with us, teaching us and giving us good guidance along the way. I guess that’s where our consciences weigh in huh.
For me, this has additional implications for us as human beings. It says that regardless of how we were conceived, regardless who our biological parents were or are, regardless of how they or the world felt about our conception and birth; God has been active in the mix, lovingly involved in the process.
I can’t explain disabilities or exceptional traits, but I suspect that even then God has/had a plan and communicated wisdom in ways that could only be God! In Psalm 139, it’s described as ‘fearfully and wonderful creation’. So on this day as I celebrate life, family and wisdom; I first celebrate My Creator, Who honestly frames the content of these nougats.
Grace and Peace to each of you; I’m so glad God made you you. May wisdom and honesty always be your portion.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
