Can you imagine the joy that Philip’s presence brought to Samaria? The Gospel was being shared with a people who were starved of the Word. With Phillips visit, they saw Christ’s ministry being manifested in their presence firsthand despite their status as enemies of the Jews.
I can only imagine that the Lord added to the numbers daily those who were excited about following The Way.
Now –
Imagine a world 1800 years hence, where your individual witness to Christ’s power is being chronicled … (Rest assured, I’m imagining also)
° How would your personal ministry be described by the writer?
° Is the description what you would wish to be remembered by?
° Moreover, how would God rate your ministry to The Stranger/Outsider at this time in your spiritual journey?
