Good morning
Blessings and merry Christmas to one and all. Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” 1 John 4:7 NRSV
What does God’s love look like? For some, it looks like a manger … God becoming human and being born in humble estate so that the least and the lowest has access. For others, it’s a cross … the ultimate sacrifice the greatest switcheroo – Christ taking our place and rescuing us from eternal damnation. There are those who’d say it’s the empty tomb … conquering death and securing our place in heaven like no other.
I propose it’s all of the above and a mirror … when I can see Christ reflected in each of us – humbled, sacrificed, risen in God’s power today and every other.
Let us love boldly and broadly to the glory of God, become human; crucified for our sake and ascended to secure our place … forever in God’s presence.
reason to celebrate at this time and the whole year through.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
