You know how it gets sometimes; we’re going through, and it’s a lot to get one foot forward. Then there’s Mary Sunshine or Johnny Toohappy trying to convince us that everything is going to be fine. Don’t they understand that we’re not in a good place? And when we try to help them see, to help them ‘get it’, they throw our faith in our faces. They still wish us to get up and get Christ flowing.

Of course, we probably didn’t expect that the Johnny Toohappy is Christ Jesus Himself. Yup. And He’s not throwing our faith in our faces. Rather He is offering Himself as the way out.
If we are stuck in a space/place with no way out … Jesus walked through walls and disappeared in thin air.
If we’re cut off from the world, He turned up at the well when no one else was meeting the woman from Sychar
If we’re unfairly judged – Jesus challenged the hypocrisy of the establishment on behalf of ONE woman
If we’re tired of burying/losing loved ones, He met the widow of Nain and compassionately brought life and laughter back to her household
If we’re desperate and destitute, the Hem of His garment carries as much healing power, love and grace as His words
If you are broke without resources, Jesus Christ took money out of fish’ mouth – He knows where resources are
If seems He’s taking forever, it could be that He’s waiting for Us to come visit (by night or day)
