Here’s today’s nougat.

Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. Ephesians 4.15

Her supervisor calls her aside and helps her to recognize a gross mistake. Several months later her mentee comments, “Yes you spoke the truth, but where is the love?”

As Christians we cite Tough Love as the driving factor behind some of our actions, but is it always necessary?

Lord, teach us to live like you so that our loving ways reflect our spiritual growth. Please forgive our meanness. In Jesus’s name Amen.
