Simeon was given a promise from God. Regardless of his age, or his stature he was holding steadfast to it. And while he waited, he made himself available to God.
He was not only In communion WITH God, he was also available TO God I the temple.
God has made individual and collective promises to each of us. One is God’s promise that Jesus Christ will come again.
Do we believe? Are we in communion WITH Jesus? Are we available TO Jesus? What are we doing while we wait?
