As the 16 days of advocacy and activism to end gender based violence comes to a close, I’m severely disturbed about the human trafficking realities all around the world, but especially in our region. It’s as real as our own contexts friends. Let us resolve to be the difference our world needs today
Here’s today’s nougat
Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7.1
Time has proven that God does not renege on promises made to us. Even when it feels otherwise.
Having recommitted ourselves to walking in God’s purpose, let us be bold in claiming God’s promise to be with us as we fulfil God’s Matthew 28.18-20 mandate. Let us rekindle Hope that God will complete that good work in us, with just as much precision planning as the birth of Jesus.
Our recognition of the advent season is a confirmation that God’s will MUST prevail and even in the least encouraging settings.
May the Spirit of Christ: Babe, Messiah and Resurrected One strengthen us in the best of days and the worst of times.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
