Good day
I trust you are well, not so much as a result of good health, but more so because you’ve placed all in God’s hands.
Here’s today’s nougat
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Years ago, a friend and mentor confirmed what I’d suspected … Her adversity was good learning ground for her to be a blessing to another. In fact, she now ministers to others about God’s grace in distress as a result of her experience.
Another friend spoke of experience bought and taught. From our bought (perhaps painful personal) experiences, we are gifted to teach others.
I guess the question is whether we have learnt from our trials to be off benefit to ourselves or others. Thanks be to God, who sustains us so that we overcome.
Lord help us to use our trials to help others triumph – today, tomorrow … always.
God bless you
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
