Hello

Have you ever had one of THOSE conversations with God? Consider the reflection on today’s Holy Nougat

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3 ASV

^ Perfect Peace You say? Even when my world is closing in on me? Even when all hell breaks loose?

* Yes, I will keep you in perfect peace.

^ But Lord, I’ve had so many rough moments and trust me – there was NO peace! None whatsoever.

I mean, it eventually resolved; but until then- uh uh! Nada. No proper sleep, gained weight, felt heavy in my spirit always. That’s not peace Lord, sorry to tell You.

* I never suggested that that was peace.

Let’s go back to that season. Wasn’t that when you –

^ Yes Lord. You don’t have to rehash all the details!

* Ok. So my memory says that you had an inkling, you called it, that trouble was brewing; about two weeks before the fact; right?

^ Yes Lord. But I don’t see what that has to do with perfect Peace.

* But my dear it does. The fact that I gave you such early notification suggested that that one would be a Cat. 6 hurricane strength.

Now I know you; had you received that much notice for a hurricane; you’d have battened down and made all the preparations. Instead, you warned others and did nothing to prepare yourself; not even talk with me about it.

true

But dear, my Perfect Peace comes with Trust. Tell the truth and shame the devil – did you trust Me for that situation?

^ Not really; not until I couldn’t resolve it on my own.

* And that’s the issue my child. Trusting me is not the Last Resort – that hotel is closed to Peace. Keeping your mind on ME is about you reminding yourself every step of the way and allowing ME to address the challenges you face for YOU! Then my peace comes naturally, although it’s actually supernatural.

^ Aaah

So in trying to work things out by myself and feeling like a headless chicken, I denied myself of Your Perfect Peace.

That means if I focus on You and Your mercy in my every situation, I will have Your peace to see me through. Ok. Ima try to practice that.

Thanks so much for that clarification Lord.

I give You today also; I suspect I will NEED Your Peace

* Always ready to oblige my dear.

In Christ’s love and grace . . .
