Have you ever been sidelined because of who you represent? Welcome, there’s room for more. Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“But the people were displeased. “He has gone to be the guest of a notorious sinner,” they grumbled.” Luke 19:7 NLT
That’s the trouble eh. Whatever we do comes with the sure and certain knowledge that someone will either be offended or criticize to shreds. Just think; many folks failed to welcome Jesus, but found themselves very offended that He went where He was invited.
Hmmm
Ironically, that argument persists today. Many of us who have no room in our hearts for Jesus are challenged to see some of the ‘who’ Jesus engages. For often we forget its by invitation only. Oh yes! Our invitation to Christ who continues to knock at our hearts’ door.
Rather than dictate the terms of Jesus’ interactions with others, let’s praise God for the gift of salvation. Now that’s some good news!
